There were only a few songs the fam and I played together, mainly “A Whole New World” — no one sang, though we all can carry a tune pretty well — and “Pachelbel’s Canon in D.”

Hells yeah, let’s do it! It’ll be like when we jammed on Playstation’s Rock Band, but for real. (Rockin’ the fake drums on Weezer’s “Say It Ain’t So” is still a highlight of my amateur musical career.)

LOVE this post too! My goodness, they just keep getting better.

My family had thoughts of starting a band in high school too. It was going to look something like this: My brother on drums, my mom on piano, and me on trombone. I guess we’d all take part in the vocals but somehow I never imagined it sounding nice.

If you want, I can teach you how to read tabs when you come over this weekend for our jam session. I cannot wait for it! I’ve been dying to play the juno song with another guitarist, because there’s a tiny little lick in there that I can only play if another guitar strums the main hook for it to sound right. OOOOHHHHHH i’m so excited now! Guitars/Music are my lifeblood.

Haha, that’s as indie as indie gets. For listening to me burst into song at random, as if we were in a musical, you’re entitled to 100% of the t-shirt profits. But I don’t know that a Quickdraw solo album will sell. Will you audition to be one of the Dog Whisperers?

I think it’s pretty indie rock that I get to go to your exclusive concerts every night. You’re amazing. If you play your cards right, I might cut you in on some of the proceeds from the Quickdraw and the Dog Whisperers bootleg t-shirts.
